Lobby Signs = Smart Advertising

People and companies always make the mistake of not knowing exactly where to advertise to bring in new customers. That’s why they over spend people they usually end up advertising to the wrong area. A fish store shouldn’t advertise in a newspaper that circulates to people miles away because there can be dozens of fish stores they have to pass in order to get to you. Before you start dishing out thousands of dollars for radio and television commercials and newspaper and magazine advertisements, you want to work on your home base first. If your store or office does not have custom plaques, custom signs, or lobby signs then you are wasting money on every other form of advertising. What good is having people see an advertisement in a newspaper or piece of mail when they won’t even know if they are in the right building when they walk into your store?

You need to be smart about where your advertisement dollars go and you can get much more business in for less money if you advertise the smart way. Withhold from paying thousands of dollars for a newspaper ad that will only reach a small percentage of your target customer base. Look beyond that small portion of the people who will even notice a traditional advertisement, and remember that you need to make sure that when people drive by your building, or more importantly walk in, they know exactly where they are. You never want to be referred to as the store on a certain street, you want people to know your exact name and they will not get that unless you have your name and logo up in the building or store right when they walk in.
